Any guess for Part II?

Cube 2 – An insane Open Source and Free 3D Shooter Game for Every Doom/Quake Lover!

Open Source 3D Shooters are just becoming smarter and more graphic rich! We were just great fans of Quake series of id software and nowimage there are more than a handful of neat 3D shooter games are available as Free and Open Source. But, Cube 2 – Sauerbraten is the one that stands out prominently. We would call it the most insane and graphic rich 3D Shooter game that you would ever see! Breathtaking sceneries are a treat to your eyes. Of course it is based on the earlier Cube 3D engine but a lot of original work has been put together to release Cube 2.

  • Cube 2 – Sauerbraten is really a fast paced game with Quake like Arena with Bots or Multiplayer support. Bots are quite intelligent and gives a realistic feeling. Cube 2 runs on a modest PC configuration, a 1GHz or higher CPU, at least 256MB RAM or higher, A GeForce Graphics Card (6600 or higher recommended).
  • Many multiplayer gameplay modes, most in teamplay variants as well: deathmatch, instagib, efficiency, tactics, capture etc.
  • Two singleplayer modes: DMSP (fight a monster invasion on any DM map), classic SP (progression driven SP like other games)
  • 7 weapons tuned for maximum satisfaction: double barrelled shogun, rocket launcher, machine gun, rifle, grenade launcher, pistol, fist.

Here is screenshot of CPU performance on an Intel Quad Core PC with 3GB RAM. CPUs are hardly loaded at full resolution.

  • Cube 2 really has pleasant graphics with beautiful texture mapping.
  • Cube 2’s Sober Metal Music Tracks are nice
